Game 90: Pirates 5 A’s 0

Francisco Liriano is pretty awesome. Five hits with runners in scoring position is nice. While Pirate fans spent most of the first half of this week freaking out about the offense, the Pirates outscored the A's (the American League's fourth-highest scoring team) 7-4 in this series. They're 54-36 now. After 113 years, they've finally beaten the Athletics franchise in a game of baseball.

It's definitely bed time.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
