Something about getting shut out by Bronson Arroyo with Danny Herrera whiffing Garrett Jones on a 66 mph junkball with the bases loaded and two outs in the eighth inning just goes down wrong. I've written a few thousand blog posts about this team in the last five years, and describing this current incarnation of the club is still something that routinely escapes words for me.
