Monday links E-mail

I'm working on adding a "Prospects" section to WHYGAVS, which would go on the top menu, but since I'm ranking the top 21 hitters and the top 21 pitchers and writing up a little bit about each one and providing relevant links, it's quite a bit of work. Which means that I haven't had time to write anything else lately. Which means it's time for some links.

Cool story in the PG about a batboy from the Negro Leagues that's definitely worth your time to read.

Tim at BuccoFans is putting together a pretty sweet-looking Wiki for both his site and the Pirates' organization, including service time, arbitration eligibility, etc.

You may have noticed that Brian at Raise the Jolly Roger and Jim at Northside Notch posted Manager of the Year ballots for the Baseball Bloggers Alliance. I'm also a part of the BBA, but because each team's bloggers only get two votes between them, I don't actually disagree that heavily with either Jim or Brian's ballots, and I think manager of the year is kind of a stupid award, I'm copping out on this one. I will post MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year ballots.
