Given the final score, this is a crazy summary:

Bot 1st: Pittsburgh - G. Jones homered to deep center

Top 7th: San Francisco- P. Sandoval to second on wild pitch, R. Winn scored on F. Sanchez's fielding error

Bot 14th: Pittsburgh- G. Jones homered to deep right center

Garrett Jones = Mark Smith.

Garret Jones may not be in Big Bens status but is becoming a Pitt sports hero.

garrett jones, meet 1993-2009 pittsburgh pirates folklore. this magnificent list includes such highly respectable company as turner ward, mark smith, jason michaels and craig wilson. we hope this list gets much better in the coming years.

sincerely,

PBC

Yes, but I loved Mark Smith if only for winning the no-hitter for Franky.

I, for one, had a fantastic time at the ballpark last night. Great pitching duel between Maholm and Lincecum and, of course, Mr. Jones' two blasts.
