Today's headline that I never expected to see

ohlendorf netherlands jpg

Take THAT, vaguely placed European country that my terrible American sense of geography always confuses with Denmark!

Can we put a pennant up that says "Grapefruit League Champs" if we keep this up? I at least want a t-shirt.

A thought: The Detroit Lions won all four of their preseason games before going 0-16 this past season. Just saying. I'd be too worried if they do too well in meaningless Spring Training games....

I\'d buy that shirt
Okay, I LOVE the idea of having "2009 Grapefruit League Champions" t-shirts made. It's been so long since we've been able to buy anything like that for the Bucs, that I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It satisfies the need to trumpet the team, while taking a subtle jab at them in the process. I'll give you a couple days to make this happen, Pat, and then I'm stealing the idea!

I think the best note from this game was that Randall Simon is team captain of the Dutch. Unbelievable how he continues to turn up.

I got 99 problems, but being Dutch ain't one.

(I'd so buy a Grapefruit League Champs shirt.)
