If you’re a baseball history geek, I strongly recommend you check out 1924 and You Are There!!, a blog focused on replaying the entire 1924 season through Strat-o-matic Baseball and covered by fictional contemporary writers. It’s seriously amazing, and not just because the Pirates (who, in real life finished with 90 wins and in third place) are running away with the National League.

Cory and Alan, formerly of Pirate Revolution, are up and blogging again at Titletahn. Glad to have them back in the fold.

With the demise of MVN, Pittsburgh Lumber Company has moved to a new URL. The sidebar link will be updated shortly.

Wait a second, is that, OH MY GOD, IT’S THE WHITE FLAG’S MUSIC! RYAN VOGELSONG HAS RETURNED TO AMERICA!!! (via PBC)

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
